Pros and cons of CBS5AZ.com app for iPhone and iPad

CBS5AZ.com app good for

I really like this app. Very informative and I can pick the stories I want to read.
Allows you to control notifications to fit your needs. Easy to use.
A good source of local news on the go. I live in Prescott and want to stay in touch with state wide and metro Phx news. The alerts and the app are definitely 5 stars. Plus they dont charge for their news as AZ Central does.
I receive notifications when traveling. The app works great! Thank you CBS5
Appreciate the notifications for Latest News, Traffic Reports and Weather Alerts. Yes, the "10 min News" Announcement may be a little annoying but it still brings up the News!! Thank you!
Good. Easy to get from one story to another. I have alerts set up and get news now not later

Some bad moments

Unable to change font size in latest version. Pop-up window to change font size is blank.
I find it distasteful that they would have ads before the final call of a fallen officer. Whomever sends the push notifications as of late (last several months) needs to identify what is worthy of a notification and not. They have diluted the value and I no longer even look at them. Not related to the app, but Morgan Lowe was a valued member of the CBS crew and I always appreciate his reporting. To see him tossed away was disappointing, but what was more so, was the lack of reporting on it. This organization used to stand for objective reporting. I have watched CBS 5 for years, as did my parents in the era of Wallace and Ladmo, but I will be moving on. Hopefully Sean, the true talent of the network, will follow. Sincerely, A disappointed former loyal viewer
The revamp of this app was a big mistake. It id harder to navigate and not as informative. Marketing should roll back a little and let the news flow.
Use to love the app not anymore, that "10 Minutes" splash screen that pops up is really annoying. When youre a busy person on the go thats the last thing you need holding you up. Ill go elsewhere for my on the go news.
App works fine on iPad but wont open on either our iPhone 5 or 6s. All you get is "first 10 minutes" or spinning spoked wheel.
I want to read the article, and not have to dig for news stores. In addition, at times you cant forward pertinent stories to friends and or family.
